Thanks for connecting with me. I was in Phx just a couple weeks ago speaking. Let me know if I can help you in anyway. I have attached a 2 min video of a couple of my Keynote addresses. I don't know how to add it to he site.
Best Regards

Well, it depends what topics you are trying to get to grips with.
If it's computer software related subjects, you might like to take a look at http://www.lynda,com
They have a wide range of video based classes on most of the popular software.
I hope that's helpful.

John Kremer? I don't know the name, butnow you've mentioned him, I'll look him up. ;-)
I first became involved with computers back in 1964, as a member of the British Institute of Management's Computer Research Group. Of course, in those days they were mainframes as big as a football pitch, and only large companies or the governments could afford them. ;-)
I qualified as a systems analyst and computer programmer, and was a pioneer of computer auditing.
Back in the mid-70's I was also one of the pioneers of hobby-home-computing. In those days we had to build our own, including upper and lower-case and numeric keypads.
At that time, I started the largest independent hobby computer club in the UK, and created a standard club constitution and operating guidelines, that I distributed to anyone who asked world-wide.
Many other clubs were started around the world using that constitution and operating guidelines.
As one of my business-portfolio, I also built a computer dealership and consulting business which lasted for over 20 years, before we disposed of it.
It has been very interesting to watch the rapid pace of progress over the last 30+ years. It has all been so fast, that unless you are dealing with it on a daily basis, you invariably get left behind.
Interestingly, of necessity I learned to program in over 20 different programming languages - hardly any of which are still in use today. Technological obsolescence is relentless, isn't it? and getting faster.
John
